About Us
Beulah Apostolic Church | B.A.C
“BAC aims to preach and teach God’s word from the Bible, to help as many people as possible to know God is real; and that through the resurrection of His son Jesus, and by the power of His Holy Spirit, we can have an authentic relationship with the only God, and be a part of His eternal family.”
A BRIEF SUMMARY OF WHO WE ARE
At BAC (Beulah Apostolic Church), we’re a vibrant umbrella church with five branches enriching lives spanning the length of England, from London to Manchester, and a blossoming satellite church in Swindon. Our roots run deep, and our branches reach high, nourishing our shared purpose and covering our mutual beliefs.
SIGNIFICANCE OF BEULAH'S NAME
It’s all in the name: ‘Beulah’ in the Bible is more than just a word – it’s a figurative name for Israel, which carries the beautiful meaning of “married” or even the term “married to the land.” As found in Isaiah 62:4, Beulah symbolizes Isaiah’s expression of hope for the transformation of the once desolate lands into a flourishing and God-fearing populated haven of prosperity.
ORIGINS OF OUR DENOMINATION
As an Apostolic Church, we can trace our denominational origins back to Jesus’ original twelve apostles. Read about the apostles and the start of the church in the book of Acts. We cherish the accuracy and the authority of their teachings and acknowledge the power of God’s Holy Spirit to transform the life of every believer.
BAC'S APOSTOLIC RELATIONSHIP
And here’s a nugget of wisdom – the term “apostolic” in the Bible holds a special place. The definition of an apostle (taken from the Greek word ‘apostolos’) is “one who is sent” God sent Jesus, and in return, Jesus taught and then sent his disciples as apostles to spread the word about his teachings (i.e., the good news of the gospel) all around the world.
